TACO has specific application to the senior horse with chewing problems to horses while trail riding or packing and to performance horses from light to extensive work levels. Feed TACO along with free choice plain salt or iodized salt and 2-3 lbs. per day of long stemmed hay according to the following table:

Horse Classification Pounds to Feed Daily per 100 Pounds of Body Weight
Senior Horse - Chewing Difficulties 1.5 to 1.8
Maintenance - Adult Horses 1.3 to 1.5
Performance - Light Work 1.5 to 1.7
Performance - Moderate Work 1.6 to 1.8
Performance - Intense Work 1.8 to 2.0

Feed 20%-25% less pounds of TACO per day than you would if feeding separate hay and grain. This product is ground and heat treated to kill viability of weed seed.
