LMF Alpaca/Llama Developer provides fortification along with added protein and caloric density for growing, late gestation and lactating alpacas and llamas. It is recognized, however, that the quality of Northwest forage often provides sufficient protein and calories without adding calories from grain.

100% Organic Selenium
Organic Selenium is more bio-available than inorganic Selenium and is better retained in the body. This allows the horse to build nutrient reserves against periods of increased demand with less risk of toxicity.
Natural Vitamin E
Natural Vitamin E, which comes from plant oils, is an important fat soluble vitamin that is not produced by the horse’s body. This vitamin must be obtained through external sources like forage, grain and supplements. Vitamin E: acts as an antioxidant, helps keep the immune system strong, and helps the body use Vitamin K.
LMF Alpaca/Llama Developer
Feed LMF Alpaca/Llama Developer to cria, growing alpacas or llamas, late gestation (mos 9-10) and lactating alpacas or llamas, along with average quality grass hay or pasture, free choice plain or iodized salt and clean water. Do not feed any additional mineral/vitamin supplement as interference or toxicities could occur. Do not exceed the maximum recommended amounts. If the growing or lactating alpaca or llama is overweight at the minimum feeding level, replace with LMF Alpaca/Llama Reduced Calorie and feed as per instructions. Two level cups equals approximately 1 pound.

*If average or better quality hay or pasture is fed, added calories are not required under normal circumstance during early gestation (mo. 1-8) and maintenance. To meet mineral/vitamin requirements for such alpacas or llamas without adding additional calories, feed LMF Alpaca/Llama Reduced Calories.
WARNING: Do not feed any additional source of Selenium with this product as it contains all needed levels of Selenium when fed according to recommendations.
